Classes at Atisha KMC

These classes are suitable for all levels of experience. Most people meditate sitting on chairs but cushions are also available if you prefer to sit on the floor.
There is no need to book – everyone is welcome to drop in to any class.

Some of these classes will also be available via live-stream – see below for details.

These introductory classes begin with a simple guided meditation to reduce stress, tension and distractions. This is followed by a short teaching on how to apply Buddhist principles to daily life, followed by a second meditation and an opportunity to ask questions and discuss with others.

After the class you are welcome to stay for refreshments and informal discussion.

You don’t need any previous experience to attend these classes. Also, you don’t need to pre-register. All you need to do is choose a class and come along!

From 1st May some of our classes will be available to join online via Zoom. 

These live-stream classes will only be available to people within our catchment area who join one of our monthly membership schemes.
