The Summer Self-Reset: From Sabotage to Self-Care
Two uplifting meditation classes – attend either or both
Discover practical methods from modern Buddhism to quiet the inner critic, transform negative thoughts, and develop a deeply positive view of your self-care. Everyone is welcome and also to stay for refreshments & chatting after class. Attend one or both classes.
Class 1: Breaking the Cycle (Overcoming Self-Sabotage)
Tuesday 18th Aug, 7 – 8:15pm and Thursday 20th Aug, 11am – 12noon
This class focuses on identifying why we get in our own way and how to stop it.
Summer is the perfect time for a fresh start, yet many of us find ourselves slipping into bad habits that hold us back. In this session, you will learn to re-think “self-sabotage,” understand why we get in our own way, and walk away with practical tools to quiet your inner critic and maintain your momentum.
Class 2: The Self-Care Mindset (Positive Thinking & Wellness)
Tuesday 25th Aug, 7 – 8:15pm and Thursday 27th Aug, 11am – 12noon
This class focuses on reframing self-care from a chore or a luxury into a positive, essential practice.
True self-care isn’t just a checklist; it’s a mindset. In this second session, we will explore how to stop viewing self-care as a luxury or a burden and start seeing it as an act of positive self-respect. Learn how to reframe your daily routines, cultivate deep self-compassion, and design a sustainable, guilt-free self-care practice that lasts long after summer ends.
