Group Volunteering Session
Saturday 22nd March, 10:30am – 1pm
Join us for a morning of cherishing Atisha Centre. We’ll be splitting into groups to work in the garden and around the building engaging in various activities including cleaning, painting, tidying and sorting.
We’ll have a tea break and probably (knowing us!) have lunch together at the end. Let us know if you fancy coming along or just turn up at 10:30am on the day. info@meditationindarlington.org

Join our wonderful team of volunteers!
If you have any special skills – or even if you don’t! – there are many opportunities to get involved at Atisha Centre (Registered Charity No. 1013466). From reception and shop, decorating, cooking and gardening to designing and distributing publicity, everyone is welcome to visit, learn new skills and join in the fun. Jobs can be found to fit your schedule, so even if you can only volunteer a couple of hours a week there will be something you can help with. Perhaps, like Kevin here, your employer allows you some time-out for volunteering – if so, you’d be very welcome to join us for a one-off session or more!At the moment we are wishing for volunteers in the following areas:
- reception and shop – we’d love to open our reception and shop a few days a week so that people can pop in on their way past and find out details about classes. If you’d like to be a receptionist then please do get in touch.
- painting and decorating – there’s always little areas that could do with a touch-up
- graphic design – help more people find meditation with inspiring online images and printed publicity
- distributing our printed publicity – we don’t hand out our leaflets to the public, instead we usually take out our leaflets and posters to have on display in local shops, cafés and businesses so that people can see them and pick them up. If you’d like to get your daily steps in a meaningful way then this might just be the job for you!
