Serving the Public

Serving the publicAtisha Kadampa Buddhist Centre is a non-profit making registered charity (No. 1013466) that is run entirely by volunteers.

It has a thriving community of ordained and lay practitioners from all walks of life, who regularly come together for teachings, meditations, prayers, volunteering and social events.

Everyone is welcome to join in.

Atisha Centre is here for you. Its purpose is to provide a focal point for the meditation classes and study of Kadampa Buddhism and in this
way contribute to the peace and happiness of everyone in the area.

You are welcome to come to any of the classes, courses, events, chanted meditations or retreats that are on offer, or if you just want to come and visit, we look forward to seeing you!

Another wonderful way that Atisha Centre contributes to the community is through school and workplace visits.

Atisha Centre has daily prayers and meditations, for more information see our timetable. Outside these times you are welcome to come in and do your own private practice in our beautiful meditation room.
