The classes this term are following the text The New Meditation Handbook by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, available at tharpa.com or you can purchase a copy on the night.

Everyone welcome!

What to expect in a class
Classes begin with a simple guided meditation to reduce stress, tension, and distractions. This is followed by a teaching comprising an explanation of particular Buddhist principles and how to apply them to daily life. This is followed by a second guided meditation on the particular topic covered in the class. Then there is an opportunity for small group discussion, followed by a question and answer session with the teacher.

After the class there is a chance to enjoy some refreshments and discuss more informally with the teacher and other participants. You do not need any previous experience to attend these classes.
