  • These classes resume in September

Cost: £2 per class

These are ideal classes for those with children, because adults can attend this class – while the children enjoy the Children’s Meditation Class which runs at the same time.

These drop in classes are taught by British Buddhist nun and qualified Kadampa Teacher, Kelsang Droljang. Each class consists of two guided meditations, a talk and discussion. The talk covers the particular topic for the class. Through guided meditation we gain a deeper personal experience of that topic. This will help us to be more positive and peaceful in our daily lives. Everyone is welcome and can join at any time.

Sunday Meditation Class

These are all drop-in classes, there is no need to book.

The classes this term are following the text Advice from Atisha’s Heart translated by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso available at www.tharpa.com or you can purchase a copy on the day.

Everyone is welcome!

What to expect in a class
Classes begin with a simple guided meditation to reduce stress, tension, and distractions. This is followed by a teaching comprising an explanation of particular Buddhist principles and how to apply them to daily life. This is followed by a second guided meditation on the particular topic covered in the class.

After the class there is a chance to enjoy some refreshments and discuss more informally with the teacher and other participants. You do not need any previous experience to attend these classes.
