Your Buddhist Centre
Atisha Kadampa Buddhist Centre is a non-profit making registered charity that is entirely run by volunteers.
It has a thriving community of ordained and lay practitioners from all walks of life. The community regularly come together for teachings, meditations, prayers, Centre work and social events and everyone is welcome to join in.
Atisha Centre is here for you. Its purpose is to provide a focal point for the meditation classes and study of Kadampa Buddhism and to thereby contribute to the peace and happiness of everyone who uses it.
You are welcome to come to any of the classes, courses, prayers or retreats that are on offer, or if you just want to come and visit, we look forward to seeing you!
There are many classes available, both in Darlington and in the surrounding area, please click the right hand menu for a class near you. Atisha Centre itself has daily prayers and meditations, for more information see our timetable. Outside these times you are welcome to come in and do your own private practice in our beautiful meditation room.
